I think this is a great example of the hard conditions african americans during the Great Depression had to face. This image shows that african americans did not have the best living conditions. Their homes were nott as good as whites. THey often had large families and not enought food or money to provide better lives for tehir children and themselves. African americans had a harder time finding jobs. When they did find jobs they were paid very little. It was harder for them to provide clothing, a good home and mainly food.
